10 Women Creatives to Follow on Instagram

Hello friends,

I’ve always loved that sisters quote from Little Women, how about you? I feel lucky to have a sister who is just 20 months younger than me, and we’ve always been close—from our days wearing matching Laura Ashley dresses to just this morning when I called her to talk over spring break plans (although now that I think about it, maybe we should have been talking over how to get matching Laura Ashley dresses again—ha!)

But I’m lucky to also have so many other “sisters” in my life — most of us are, right? Friends, aunties, colleagues, members in our online communities…

So I’m excited to celebrate International Women’s Day this coming Monday and Women’s History this entire month. (Not that we need an excuse!)

@tamumcpherson - An American fashion influencer based in Milan, her gorgeous looks and radiant smile bring me straight up joy.

@designmom - She is living the dream! Fixing up a historic home in France with her family and creating such great content in the process.

@hannahcarpenter - Fantastic sense of humor, beautiful family, colorful house projects galore. What’s not to love?!

@girlzpop - These ladies are super cool but seem so friendly and approachable in their stylish Parisian apartment. A new to me follow — highly recommend!

@abbyclawsonlow - Her primary color scheme and designer’s eye are to die for. Plus, she wrote an incredible book about Mexico City and I am dying to go there.

@sunkissis - We didn’t get to carry out our plans to move to France last year (thanks Covid ☹️) but I get my fix of Parisian family life via this lovely American in Paris.

@metacoleman_ - Maximalist interiors at their best. Meta is a good friend and I adore everything she touches.

@sfgirlbybay - One of the very first bloggers I followed back in the day and I still love following along for her dreamy lifestyle by the beach and Francophile tendencies.

@jeni - I’ve loved Jeni’s ice cream ever since we moved to Columbus, Ohio back in 2007 and it was the talk of the town there. But the founder’s IG account isn’t really about ice cream. It’s about life, fashion, the forest, the big questions in life… and once in awhile, a delicious recipe or two.
