Paris by Design: My Top 5 Favorite Spots in the 11th Arrondissement
I love that each district or “arrondissement” of Paris has its own unique feeling. The special thing about the 11th arrondissement is that it’s full of great new shops and restaurants, but isn’t overcrowded with tourists —even before COVID. Each time I’ve explored it, I almost felt like a local parisienne. (Although I probably stuck out like a sore thumb, ha!)
In my book, Paris by Design, I share places to see, shop, and stay, and Rebekah Peppler, the book’s food + drink editor, shares places to eat and drink. It comes out to almost 4 dozen total, just for the 11th! (We also spill our recommendations for all the other districts in the book and feature interviews with about 2 dozen local creatives—hint, hint.)
It was hard to narrow down those 4 dozen recommendations to my top 5, but if you’re twisting my arm, lol, here they are:

5) Adom for vintage clothes packed to the rafters in a tiny shop.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

4) Mokonuts for the best cookies in Paris.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

3) Antoinette Poisson for incredible handmade wallpaper, fabrics, and more.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
2) Yemma for super delicious, fresh, and inexpensive Moroccan food.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

1) French Trotters for chic men's and women's clothing in a friendly atmosphere (co-founder Clarent Delhouz pictured above).
